Serving most of the College’s constituents, the Assistant Registrar is expected to uphold the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism. The primary responsibility of this person is to systematically process student and academic records in a manner that is reliable and retrievable, including:
Additional responsibilities will include contributing to reports, registration, curriculum management, academic scheduling, check-in, transfer of credit, constituent response, as well as assisting in the maintenance of all Office publications.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree and experience with student records and systems management, such as that gained in a registrar’s or admissions office, is strongly preferred.
The candidate must have exceptional attention to detail, very strong management and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be self-motivated to work independently yet have the ability to collaborate with a team. Capable use of technology in the management of academic information is directly related to the success of the person in this role.

Beginning fall 2010. This is a part-time position, approximately 10 hours per week plus travel to two tournaments per semester. The Debate Coach will report to the Director of Debate. Primary responsibilities include: coaching a nationally-recognized debate team, supervising and mentoring student assistant coaches, teaching debate essentials, supervising team travel, and helping competitors excel.
The ideal candidate will have a B.A. degree, strong debate and people skills, demonstrated ability to mentor and coach students, and a strong desire to engage in the life of the Classical Liberals Arts department and college community. Candidates should be evangelical Christians, in hearty agreement with the College’s Biblical Foundations Statement, and supportive of the College’s Mission and Vision statements. Must be willing to travel.

The Financial Aid officer coordinates the financial aid program for the College and functions as a member of the enrollment staff that includes those working in the Office of Admissions. Responsibilities include: developing, implementing, and administering the College’s financial aid program, policies, and practices; developing and maintaining a financial aid database; counseling students and parents regarding financial aid issues; responding to requests from other departments for reports; and representing the College at the appropriate venues as part of the Enrollment team.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and experience in financial aid administration or related experience sufficient to acquire the skills necessary to administer financial aid service functions. Must have a strong customer service orientation and be sensitive to the confidential nature of dealing with students’ financial aid issues. Must be proficient with basic office software and have the ability to learn new applications. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to manage routine processing tasks with specific deadlines and long range projects at the same time.
